Peter’s chamber opera Rosalind about the life and work of the scientist Rosalind Franklin is to be staged in the glorious Grade 1 listed chapel of King’s College, London, only a few metres away from the laboratory where she did her pioneering work on the structure of DNA. Conductor Mark Austin will be at the helm with a wonderful cast including Alison Rose who sung the part of Rosalind at the National Opera Stiudio performance in 2022. The orchestra will be the London Mozart Players and the director will be James Hurley and Ceci Calf will be the designer. The performances will be on April 21st & 22nd 2026 and tickets will soon be available from helix-music.co.uk. With librettist Clare Heath, Peter did a live podcast in London in November for Lost Women of Science. https://www.lostwomenofscience.org/podcast-episodes/lost-women-of-science-conversations-rosalind—the-opera#audio-player
