Rosalind to be performed at the National Opera Studio.

Peter Hugh White’s new opera Rosalind about the life and work of physicist Rosalind Franklin is to be performed at The National Opera Studio on Friday 4th November 2022. With a libretto by Clare Heath the opera reveals the events surrounding Rosalind’s contribution to the discovery of the double helix of DNA but perhaps more importantly it, examines the difficulties of being a women in the world of science in the 1950s. The cast will be drawn from recent graduates of the NOS and the studio performance will also be recorded.
