On Christmas Day 2020 straight after the Queen’s Speech Classic FM is broadcasting a Royal celebration for Christmas in place of the usual Buckingham Palace Carol Service. This year the Choir of HM Chapel Royal of St James conducted by Joe Mchardy will be singing a new carol by Peter White. The new carol was commissioned just two weeks before Christmas after it was decided the trebles of the Chapel could not take part as a result of all the complications 2020 has brought to so many events, and a new setting for A,T,B was suddenly needed.
