There was a magical atmosphere in the pilgrim church of St Martha’s for the first Dark Skies concert given by The Holywell Ensemble. The night was dry and clear with magnificent views across the lights twinkling in the Surrey Hills and Peter White’s moving Elegy was given an absolutely riveting performance.
